What is best spot for fishing?

I usually try catching it near island but week passed and only two fishes got caught. What is best spot to catch fish, is it this new lake at north east side of the map?

The island is the best fishing spot. Seems like you've done something wrong or you got unlucky.

Not sure if the fishing spots have changed much, but this could account for fewer fish than expected if you've been playing for shorter periods of time or saving more frequently.
