Dual Shock 4 for msc?
I bought two used cable bound xbox 360 controllers for this game (both cost more than the game itself but whatevs). One is completely trashed by now and the other one works ok except the right bumper sometimes doesn't register button presses or registers them twice which is super annoying because I use rb to shift up. Now I could buy a third used cable bound xbox controller (no.) or buy a wireless adapter for my wireless
x360 controller which wouldn't be much cheaper.
Someone on here mentioned once that there is a mod thar lets you play msc with a Dual Shock 4 by having it register as an xbox controller or something but I can't find it. Can somebody help?

I don't believe there is a mod for using a ps4 controller with msc, but there is software that lets you use the ps4 controller as if it was a xbox controller.

Tf? I remember trying it and not working but now it does. Is that a newer feature?

Ok so the game DOES work with the DS4 but you get no modulation of r2 and l2, just on/off. That's unacceptable. But I did find the name of the software (DS4Windows) installed it and now the DS4 performes just like a 360 controller, except of course for the ergonomics but I doubt there is a software for that.

that's weird, I use a PS4 controller and it works fine. All the switches and buttons work as intended. Did you hold the triggers before mapping? If not, then that explains it

There is absolutely no need for any 3rd party software to use a ps4 controller for the game.
