my engine temperature goes too high ..
i completed building my car like 4days ago but i still can't fix this problem
i assembled all the parts of the car(Except hood, bootlid, passenger seat, back seat), made sure that it has full of coolant.
I tried to drive it, it worked well but in few minutes, engine temperature goes too high and the red lamp in speed gauge turns on, it starts to make gunshot firing sound, smokes from engine.
what should I do it? I checked the radiator, 3 pipes to engine, coolant

Same thing, leaks coolant and then temperature gets too high and engine smokes too. Hoses are fine but still no go.

try removing the hoses and then putting them on in order 1, 2, 3. I've heard rumors that will help with mysterious leaks

are you sure? The belt on the water pump. If yes, then make sure you have tightened it by adjusting the alternator and the tighten the screw on it. If you have done all that then dunno

As far as I know, the red light means low oil pressure. So you might've missed something else other than coolant. Also, the car overheats pretty quickly even if it's working fine. But it shouldn't overheat if you drive at low RPMs (provided it's working)

You can always limp it to the mechanic and let him fix it, mine was overheating bad and i got a motor tune and adjustment and it runs great now

sounds like you forgot a nut or bolt somewhere on the engine , and or heavy body chassis damage

yeah i was thinking about that either but how did you move the car all the way to repair shop?

Try towing it to the repair shop with the sceptic truck, don't forget to tow your car backwards. Towing it from the front makes the car go all over the road.

Are they still full? If not you might have forgotten some bolts.
