Loosen the main hub bolt, the big bolt in the centre and you will be able to install the half shafts.

They call the hub a spindle in this game. Centre of the spindle.

I took the entire wheel assembly apart...car kept slipping off the jack so it tended to get lower and lower over time LOL.

Unfortunately, with the spindle (hub) off, and a clear path for the halfshaft to attach to the gearbox, I can't attach it. Reading this thread I suppose I must reattach the spindle (and probably strut too). Sigh.

I hate that they call the front uprights spindles in this game. A spindle has a shaft for a bearing set to ride on.

Finally got it...all you have to do is take off the disc brake assembly, then the halfshaft can attach (to the gearbox or just hang there in space) then you reattach the disc brake assembly with the large nut and then put the wheel / tire assembly on. Much easier than I thought.

(and the innuendos are just too obvious in the above paragraph)
I have start a new game because of this, because I had forget to install them and just see it after the engine was in the car.
Bad the Game not have a realy Savefile System.

Thats why i dont use the jacks at all. you dont even need them to remove or replace anything lol. if it gets to hard to see or reach just use the pit in the garage
