Not getting the firewood job.
It could be a coincidence, but I havn't actually gotten the firewood job yet this save. (atleast from what I remember). Could it be that I did get it at some point and that the dart on the map just dissapeared as I saved and quit? Or is it just not working?

If it's the case then it might be (but probably not) possible to do the job anyway, and still get paied for it. I doubt it'll work though + Idon't know where you need to go for the job anyways.

At least the poop-pumping jobs can usually be finished even when the darts have disappeared. Haven't tried the wood chopping job yet though.

I've played 20+ hours and not a single firewood mission

I don't get the firewood missions either. I am nearly certain it's because I didn't do it earlier and the game is just waiting for me to fulfill the first firewood mission. I have no clue where to deliver it though.

If there is someone who does know where to deliver the wood then, it'd be great if you could tell us where to go.

Here it is marked on map. Deliver here semi-truck with firewood in daytime (past 06:00). Use rear hydraulics with full throttle on neutral gear to lift load. Firewood will drop near door to his house, he then will pay up to 3200 mk, depend on how much you chopped wood.

Thanks! I was wondering why I wasnt getting the firewood job, and always get it first.

Maybe I will take a day and just chop wood.

Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to try this next time I'm in-game :)

It takes long time to drive to that location and I accidentally pushed that drunk guy down and he passed out...didn't get any money, LOL.

You can bring him the wood even if he didn't call you. He will call next time most likely, but will pay you for the first flatbed.

Im currently waiting out side of the firewood dudes place in broad daylight on a sunday and he isnt here. Do I just wait for him here? I have beer and sausages with me. I have almost no diesel in the tractor, 0 diesel in the sewage truck and 7 mk money. This flatbed is my last resort. Help.

Dont overdo it though. Tractor engine can broke if you stuck with huge load of firewood offroad, so stick to the tracks and don't forget to use range to access other gears. 1st range is 1-4, 2d is 5-8 gears.

It doesn't matter how much wood you deliver(or when). You know when you got maximum load when the wood level stops rising and maximum load is worth 3200mk. Only way you can break the tractor's engine is if you don't press R to swap the range on the gears or if you are at max speed and press R to swap the range and don't let go from gas pedal.

You shouldn't really use the low range gears on the road anyways, they are meant for driving on difficult offroad and for using machines and so on.
The tractor should be able to pull the flatbed pretty much everywhere with the lowest gear of the high range side unless the tractor is much weaker than the real life one is.

Not if you want to keep the rev range in a good spot and not put undue stress on the engine - idealy you should use most of the gears, but 9 times out of 10 you can just go from L1 to H1. The truck on the other hand, once you get a full load on that you really need to be using all 12 gears to get ya best bang for ya buck fuel wise.

I think the tracktor is actually much faster than the real tractor is so the gear choice has much more impact in the game. The real tractor is very slow so it doesn't matter all that much what gear you go with unless you have extremely heavy load like full flatbed of heavy gravel or the flatbed tires have low pressure. I have never needed to use the low range gears for speeding up (on road) with the real tractor.
(Offroad or forest driving is of course with the low range gears mostly)
The original tractor max speed is around 25 km/h, in this game i think it is around 50-60 km/h.
(I think i'm going offtopic slightly)

10+ hours no call from the firewood guy, i've built my car and filled up the sewage truck and chopped a load of wood then drove by his house and he wasn't outside. Ugh.
