Engine Runs but car won't move.
Just built up my first car, skipped the extra seats and fenders etc but all other parts are installed. The engine is running fine without the need to choke or anything. Can gear up and down but the car just won't move. I've already checked the handbrake. Thanks in advance :D

was 1 bolt on the clutch linkage loose and and when i tried revving some the radiator started spewing out and it looked like the radiator cap moved an half inch when trying to turn it more. Still does not go forward or backwards.

have not used the coil springs, dunno what they are for :P

Have you checked the bolt at the clutch pedal? if the car isnt moving then it will be somthing todo with the clutch. (clutch lining)

My issue is that the car was driveable for a few minutes before breaking, now it won't move when I give it gas. (But the engine revs). I feel like we have the same issue. I have no leaks after checking though.

@Rukiryo, could you have missed a bolt when putting in the clutch assembly or not fully screwed it in? ( i dont know but just and idea) all i know is that mine is running fine.

@[AFKPc]_Blank_ Yeah I'm not sure. Aside from the engine, I've got the screws on the pedals and the master clutch. I really have no idea, don't want to spend another 3 hours building >.>

I am having the same issue, all the bolts are tight and the car starts, revs and idles fine but won't move when in gear. If i can't figure it out i'm just gonna bite the bullet and take the entire trans apart and try again.

I kinda figured it out, i realized the fluid reservoir was empty and I filled it up, and I managed to back it out of the garage, the other reservoirs were empty as well so i topped them up, but then when i went to shift again, the car again wouldn't move. There's a leak somewhere in the system i haven't discovered yet. Try that, OP you mentioned that one of the clutch lines were loose and you tightened it but it wouldn't budge, maybe the fluid leaked out of that one line while it was untightened.

Since my issue 5 hours ago, I started a new game and rebuilt it all paying attention to all screws.

Coil springs go behind the rear shocks.

I had a simular problem at first, engine was running but it did not move. Turned out i completely forgot to put the engine plating in before assembling the flywheel and clutch. Once i corrected that the car was driving just fine. Dont forget to fill the clutch cylinder with brake/clutch fluid aswell.

If it's overheating you might want to check the valve-screw settings on the rockers.

another thing i forgot to point out is the halfshafts, they have three bolts that connect them to the gearbox.

with fluid reservoirs you mean the master clutch cylinder? I've emptied an entire bottle into the clutch and 2 bottles into the brake. Have too check the rockers indeed but it should still be moving, might have only spewed out some because of the lid not being securely on. All practical parts are on so I haven't missed anything.

Will lift out the engine and maybe it will be easier too see if I missed anything

I found two brake lines that were untightened, tightened them up and filled up the brakes and clutch. Made it down the road to the first intersection and it started spewing liquid so i pulled over to check up on it and it stops shifting. It's definitely leaking somewhere then.
