The sewage truck pipe fell down the sewage well
The update has made it so it falls off to avoid the truck flying into orbit. Great! Except it's fallen off. And gone straight to the bottom of a sewage well. How am I meant to retrieve this?

To prevent this from happening in the future here are a few tips.

1) Don't park too close to the well give yourself a few meters of room
2) You don't need the full length of the hose to be able to reach the bottom
3) If you followed my first suggestion getting the hose out by hand should be easy enough
4) Don't try to move the hose while the suction is going
5) Finally the best tip is to not forget about leaning with Q to grab the hose without having to completely lower to the ground

Aaahahaha f*ck me sideways. I feel for you.

Seriously. This is a bad situation and could possibly make the sewage job downright impossible. Because it's almost impossible to pull the hose up by hand without advancing the truck a little.

I know. I tried for a good 5 minutes to pull the pipe back up of the well, with no sucsess. Now I'm stearing down a litteral s*it well, looking at my beloved pipe.

I have a save backup, so I'll take the plunge of a little bit of game progress to see what happens after a reload.

Could you edit your title to make the problem clear at first sight?

ToplessGun needs to see this. Hundreds of players are going to lose their pump hoses in the same way within the next few hours.

I can confirm, that after a save + quit, the pipe will respawn on your truck. I can now continue my poop sucking days risk-free

Yes, you can save and quit and reload the game,
But when that happens you can also find the hose back at the landfill.

Or if the Sewage hose has been missing for 2 years you could always ask a necromancer to summon it back from the dead.
