Got a Prank Call and the phone sounded like it blew up

Phone started ring once every min. So i decided to wait then pick it up, after that i heard a loud bang like the phone blew up or something!!

Is it a bug that when answering the so-called "prank call" you don't die but the "explosion" sound still plays?

I dunno if it's a bug or not. My phone got hit by lightning but it didn't kill me. I did see a little mini lightning bolt hit the phone receiver. I wonder if it has something to do with how close you are standing to the phone? I am usually standing rather far back when I answer so I can look at the wall map so maybe the lightning bolt missed my guy or something?

That happened to me as well, kinda disappointing and anticlimactic.

Tried to kill my char for achievement on lightining strike and noticed on my 1 time, that usually lighting just kills the line, but when thunderstorm was very near (loud lightining) and phone did ring, then I got killed, so perhaps the lightning needs to be on your spot to get killed by it
