There's a video on YouTube showing the whole process, go check it out!

first the crankshaft, then main bearings 1, 2 and 3, tighten them as you go, then piston 1, 2, 3, 4
May the developer consider fixing the order of that? It makes no sense to put the crankshaft in before the pistons. The pistons should go in, then the crank, then then the main bearings.
Unless I'm just dislexic and forget which way it was at school, do you actually put them down from the top of the cylinder?

yes. you put them on from the top IRL. not sure about the game though.

the way youd do it irl is the same as the game
if u put the pistons in first then the crankshaft you would be working with too many loose parts than you have hands.

You put them in any order you want. Its not wrong, but the game should let you add pistons first if you want to.

Speaking of pistons, I hope they add the option to boost the engine at some point. That could introduce an entirely new dimension to wearing out parts, especially bending stock rods and such.

I sometimes get a feeling the moderator of this forum should throw some stickies away and replace them with list of content that is definetaly not going to happen. I can already imagine quite a long list.
