Satsuma's Battery Not Charging.
Hello everyone :) I have just restarted My Summer Car on a different computer as this one is faster and my old saved game was stuffed up. So I have built the Satsuma and done the wiring, everything on the car is complete, but when I drive, my battery dies, I bought and installed a new alternator, the belt is adjusted properly, and the wiring has been done properly too but i still get a red light on my dash and the battery doesn't charge.

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some info on the problem. Thanks for reading. :)

RPMs might be too low. Tune the car.

Battery sometimes does not charge at idle. If the light is not on at driving speeds, you will be fine. It should also be fine as long as you don't constantly stall.

Yeah, see thats my issue, the light is on while im driving and then after awhile the battery dies and my air/fuel ratio gauge turns off and the light also turns off.

Sounds like the alternator isn´t wired in.

yeah I might have to have a look at that, I remember wiring it up but maybe I didn't do it right.

Are you using the crappy original battery or a new one purchased from Teimo? If it's the original, then that sucker is not likely to ever take a charge.

If it's a purchased battery, try putting it on the charger in your garage and see if it takes a charge. If so, charge it fully and reinstall.

Thats not true.
I always use the original battery. Just take care of it, and it will work just like a new one.

It has a new battery and has been through like 5 cause the car will kill the battery cells.

IIRC they made it where the default battery from a new save is not chargeable unless you edit the files. it has too low of a charge to be charged

thats not true, the default battery is always rechargeable, you just have to do it once you spawn in or else it will die out.
