tbh perma-death adds to the fun because it makes you care a lot more about the car and everything
Now, they made sure it deletes upon death, which imo since the game has a bunch of bugs or issues that can cause player death kind of at random, without any way to counter it, is a little annoying. Ive died in the past because when i reloaded in, i was at the mechanic and my car flew towards me and crushed me. Upon a reload again it didnt happen, but now if that were to happen again, id lose all progress. Also windshield being broken on load in happens alot too and the fact you die without it now is really stressful considering it can break randomly.
