left mouse button hold on the seatbelt, and drag it to the spot where you lock it in (as if your aceually puttin it on in real life)
I died A LOT doing less than 45 kph before seatbelts were added.
I have yet to die doing less than 45 kph since.
They will not save you in a high speed collision; the racing harness will help with that, but at high enough speed, death is certain.
Just for reference material and general knowledge:
There are 3 collisions to every accident.
There is the external collision between the vehicles,
then comes the collision of the occupants within the vehicle
and finally, the collision of the occupants' organs within the body.
A seatbelt will solve the 2nd collision, and slightly ease the 3rd collision.
When the rollcage, raceseat and harness is mounted you can pretty much survive anything.
