Drive the car to the mecanic, park it in the driveway, let the mechanic know what you want him to do, pay, take his car and go home, dont save, wait a day and he will call you.

That's ok I guess, I'm not sure if saving affects anything to be honest. I read that a lot of people have problems with the mechanic/post orders after saving.

just go there, if the paper to order new things is on the counter, he did the work on your car and youre good to go. Usually this is the next day
