Personal Opinions: Tachometer (RPM Gauge) OR Clock?
Which do you prefer in your gauges and why? The Tachometer or the clock? The ability to tell time or to see if your engine's straining?

You could always take the clock with you. It works outside of the dash. Just don't lose it!
I use the RPM gauge, no need to tell time when flying over dirtroads ;)

A wristwatch should be in one of the next updates.

Tachometer. You can use the sun's position as an indicator of the time. I never need anything more accurate than that. Even if it's cloudy you still get shadows based on sun direction. Of course you will need to be aware of where east and west are, but once you get familiar with the map that is not a problem.

I don't really need the tachometer to shift gears, you can hear it from the engine. I'm not too good with telling time from the sun, though, so clock it is!

A wristwatch or clocks in every shop on the wall since the house has one on the wall.

Clock, definitely. I dont know if it is 3 or 5pm (useful if I am near shop). RPM gauge is not necessary because I have it in my ears :-)
