Engine fell out, halfshafts wont go back in

What do I need to remove to get the halfshafts back in? I was taking the engine back out...obviously it wasnt connected to the hoist and I thought it was, removed all the bolts and the engine fell through the car into the garage bay tunnel, and the halfshafts(they were unbolted), fell off with the engine, and now they wont reconnect.

Okay remove the front wheels then undo the bolt on the brake disk but don't remove it then the shafts should fit into place.

Awesome, thanks! I figured Id ask because I just took half my engine apart because I couldnt get the timing cover on, didnt realize 2 bolts from the oil pan goes into it, thought something else was in the way...that was a lot of wasted time.
