Car won't go into gear
My car turns on fine, I am not very good with the mechanical sides of things, I had to watch a video on how to build it, I did everything the video did, but my car just won't go into gear. I put my clutch in, shifted it into gear, but my car didn't move, and my car didn't stall or anything, it was as if it's still in neutral, please help :D (please dumb the answers down for me please)

I have checked, and it looks to me that all the bolts are in tight, also the one in the clutch

Long story short(at the request of your post), I had this problem earlier and it turned out my clutch was leaking brake fluid. I tore my hair out for 4 hours trying to find out how and I just couldn't. Try putting more brake fluid in the clutch master cyllinder and see if it's empty or not. If it is, then you've got a leak.

you might have missed some bolts in either the transmission, clutch, or clutch lines

read this

or use ctrl-f to search for the parts, and make sure all the bolts are done, if you miss any, your... screwed, heheh

Right, so I found out that my Clutch Master Cylinder was in fact empty, thanks for that, and yes, it's leaking xD I saw it spraying out as I was trying to drive, is there a way to fix this? I mean, without having to take the engine apart for one simple repair? Maybe some plaster or something? xD

The onyl thing I can think of is taking it to the mechanic and getting a full service done on it and hope he doesn't screw you over.

as i said, check all the bolts on the clutch lining, look at the guide i linked to know the numbers you need

one bolt nobody sees is the one from the clutch lining to the drive gear, check it. Then also remember to check the gear linkage, it has 3 bolts not 2, one it's straight up the transmission over the diff

I'm just going to attempt to take it to the machanic, see if I can get him to fix it

Have You Bolted all 3 gear linkage bolts?
Nio Chow Mar 27, 2017 @ 10:34am
Yeah sorry guys, this was months ago, I found out why I fixed the car, not sure but I found out somehow

same happened to me and I saw that the gear linkage is somehow missing so I teleported to me the part with msc loader installed it again and it worked

make sure the three bolts and the main bolt from the driveshaft are done and also check all the linking bolts for the shift knob
