Getting through the police stop.

I try approaching it slow, I try sitting there for their stop sign that they never lower. They still chase me. this time I ran and made it home. Did I get away? is there a way to get past them that doesn't agro them?

Approach the copper near the police car and take a breathalyser test that he has in his hand he raises. Fail get a fine but not sure if anything happens when you speed past them and go on the dirt roads (they dont follow on dirt).

Here's the easiest way I've found to go about it. After passing the cop with the radar gun I start slowing down and pulling over. I then pull up to the officer with the sign with him on my left side so he is between me and the road. If I get close enough (to take the breathalizer test) I don't even need to get out of the van/car. If you manage to bump the cop car only lightly while trying to get past him he will actually get out of your way.

I just usually go past them since they can never catch up. In order to get fined you need to actually see the fine, so if you didnt click on it when an officer is handing it over to you you should be fine.

same here just makes me wanna not bother playing that, i mean seriously whats the point in loosing all your progress, driving carefully, and worrying about sausages if your games ends because the AI cars dont have brakes

heck they cant even overtake safely

AI will be fixed during development, it's an early access game. Personally died only once because of AI traffic and that was my own mistake parking to the road (thought I'd get out for drunk test before someone would ram my car, biggest mistake you can make :D)

No, I don't mean the opposite lane... I mean if you take the highway in the opposite direction in the first place, you will never pass any cops

Yeah I quess you got away with them! I drove all the way to home with truck and them chasing me, sometimes they got lost, but then again did see the sirens, and they were after me in very close to home, but when home, there was no sirens and I rushed to save and quit and haven't seen police after that, so no promise, but I quess you got away :p

Funny thing happened to me at a roadblock. I stopped near the cop that gave the drunk test. I exited driving mode, and approached the passenger side door from inside the van. Then suddenly a racer crashed into my car at 200+ Km/h, and my fan went into the air, and landed again. I was still inside the fan, but lived, because I was not in driving mode. The cop that gave me the drunk test was run over by my rammed van though, so he couldn't give me the test. Then I drove off like normal, and they started chasing me, until I crashed into a tree... Luckily I'm not on permadeath mode.
