Phone break at storm?

Can the phone break at storm? because I answered mine while it was thundering and it just gave me loud thunder sound and a flash of lighting.. And now it's clear day and it does it everytime it rings..

i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ survive them all on mortal. I copied my Savegame to have a back up to get that ♥♥♥♥ reward..

I can't seem to get killed by it either. Been zapped several times on mortal but never die :(

you have to be near the phone line ( in the wall) to be killed, answering from the middle of the corridor let you survive the "Thor call"
