Removed engine, now can't connect battery

Ok, so the wiring was kind of a cool add. I wired the car up, drove around everything was great! I ordered the racing flywheel, put in the flywheel, drop the engine back in...now I can't connect the battery. Every time I go to connect the ground it just doesn't happen. Therefore I can't connect the negative terminal. WTF? Anyone else have this issue?

Open size 7 starter mount bolt.

Yep, I do that. Undo the bolt on the outside of the starter. I gives me the check mark for negative ground, I press 'F' and nuthin.

Side note but related, it's irritating that I can't keep trying. Once I've pressed 'F', if it doesn't work I have to do something else to reset the ability to try again. Just b*tch*ng

Have u tried save game and then try to attach wire again, maybe it's just glitched.

I actually used a couple MSCEditor backups. Same deal.

So I guess no one else has had the issue.

well i had an issue with check marks disappearing when i was wiring stuff for the first time. save/load was fixing it for me
you just have to memorize what things you hit to make check marks disappear to not hit them again when you load

Editor is known to break saves. Someone here had starting issue in the car and according editor everything was fine but after save reload fuel tank was missing from the car.
