Engine squeaking (NOT FAN BELT)

I hear squeaking when my engine is on and it gets worse when i accelerate. It's not the fan belt i checked it multiple times and even bought a new one. Can anyone help me?

might be your water pump or your alternator Just take them of and u can buy a replacement Or get The mechanic to fix them

your waterpump is stuck, thats why the squeak noise, the belt is moving but the pulley not, it will break very soon if you keep it up.

I have a problem related ... since the last update, my fan belt makes that squeak noise...I already take off all the parts envolved (alternator, water pump and crankshaft) and put all back together but doesn't solve the problem...any ideas?

start the engine and go look at it, something that touches the belt is either broken or stuck, or the alternator is loose

The alternator was broken.

these like to wear out now

thanks in advance..I already went to the mechanic to known if any part was broken but it doesn't solve the squeak noise...visually when i start the engine, I see the fan belt loose but the alternator ajustment doesn't do a thing... and eventually, after a while it snaps...I don´t known what to do... :(

check if the water pump got stuck, or the alternator, as far as i know they both have durability and when they break (i assume) they get stuck, eating out the fan belt until it breaks

Hello again Faby!! The problem is solved.....It was the water pump!!! Visually I can't see any visual damage but I went to Fletari to buy another one and then.....voilá!!!!! Thanks again Faby!! All the best!! :)
