Engine dies mid-drive

I have been playing this game for quite a while now and have come to the point where the car is completly upgraded and ready for the rally.
I took it to Fleetari's for a paint job and now the car runs fine until I get to the house of the firewood-buyer.
The RPM drop slowly and the car then dies.
When I try starting it,it only cranks but the engine doesn't start.
All the fluids are good,the screws are tightened and there is enough fuel for the car to run.
(PS:On a newer save,there was the same problem,though it was in my garage.As I didn't find a solution,I used an older save.
On both saves I have recently visited Fleetari,though only for a Gear Ratio Change (3.700) and a new paintjob)

it can be just normal wear of the engine, i had to replace 4 pistons the other day.

did you take the car to the repair shop or could you buy then and do it yourself?

I had to get them out of the engine, you need to do this now, after that the parts you removed from the engine will apear for you to buy at the mechanic or fix them individually. he does not fix the engine anymore, only individual parts

yea i changed the pistons and now it just wont start i think something else is broken :D

same happend to me broke the car went to fleetari and it was piston three

i found the problem it was the crankshaft i took the hole engine apart and the crankshaft was all bent went and got a new one and it fired right up :D

Similar thing happened to me - only with the MSC editor did i discover that crankshaft was at 0.14% lol

yea i got a new crankshaft took the car to get some fuel and on the way back the alternator broke :P. when does the game make up the condition of the parts at load or at the very start of the game?

at the start of a new game all parts that can brake will have a value of 1% up to 40% ish

then you can get the new parts that will have 80% to 90% ish maybe up to 95% iv never had anything thats been at 100

wow, this literally just happened to me. Apparently my fanbelt snapped or something; might be a good idea to check there for anyone with the same issue
