Strange sound when driving

I have a problem with my Satsuma - when i`m driving on every gear i hear sound from gearbox (like reverse mechanical sound) when my rpm higher than 3000-4000. Is it malfunction or new feature?

well, wheels also do that when you are driving on normal road

You sure your water pump pulley isn't to tight.

It is the gearbox whine the satsuma uses straight-cut gears that are usually in alot of cars the reverse so it's normal. Btw i copied this from another post.
