Tips for lightning phone call?

Yeah, I'm just trying to get the achievement. Does anyone have any tips for actually getting the call? I've tried for several hours to get this, reloading saves where storms are present, standing in different places to wait, etc. I spent half an hour just tidying up my food supplies and building forts with the beer cases one time, in case moving and interacting was a trigger... But still no call.

Is it purely 100% random when a storm is present, or is there a reasonably reliable method of trigger that call? Is there something I can set in MSCEditor to increase my chances?

Make sure the phone is plugged in lol, don't forget its a random event. You cannot cheat for this achievement

it`s a random chance. the thunderstorm can be anywhere on the map and still trigger the event.
you have a big timeframe to pick up the phone after a lightning.. it`s a few seconds.
better get used to randomness... i`m on the poker achievement now.. and it`s even worse.

I "moved" the storm from far away to where my car is parked (copied the position of my turbo badge in the editor and pasted it into weatherpos) and that's dramatically increased the frequency of the actual call happening (so distance does seem to matter)...

But now I'm getting the flash and bang, but no death from it. 3 times in the last 15-20 minutes. Exactly what happened the one time I got the call naturally ages ago..
