I would like to know if thats a myth or not. cuz i tightened my belt to the max and it stayed on for a very long time, like 5 trips around the map or so.
only today it snapped for the first time, but i think it was at the exact same time i downshifted from 4-3 and hit the rev limiter.
considering how many topics about fan belts there is here i think it would be really helpful to get an official statement on why it snaps.
thats not too long tbh, from my own experience, the belt snaps if you have the alternator too tight, after the squeaking sound stops, there are 3 possitions, never go to the lastest one.and i can confirm you the belt spawns at the store if it snaps.it apperantly doesnt if you just loose it,but this didnt happened to me
yes it spawned at the store.
i will def take your advice ant try it out, i will step back the alternator one step and repeat the cycle where i snapped it.
only it would be nice to actually know from the developer what causes it.
i reloaded my game just make sure i hadnt accidentally dropped a gear and it happened everytime, i went to fleetari asked for a tuneup came back n started heading home got as far as the store before it threw a rod and i was just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. reloaded and deliberatly blew the engine up infront of his shop then asked for an engine repair and tune and he did litterally ♥♥♥♥ all. it was still blown up.
