Missed phone calls and mission activation

I have done several sewage jobs but it seems like they are begining to come in sparatically. Also, some tanks that I have pumped need to be pumped again while I have yet to receive a call about others needing to get pumped.
I also received a call to deliver firewood, but when I showed up, he was not there and it would not let me dump the wood. I have already delivered two loads to him so I know where he is and what the house looks like.

Idk about your firewood issue, ive never done the fire wood job. But the sewage jobs you can do even though you don't get a call.

Actually, I have one more question. If you don't answer the phone and say the repair guys calls, can you pick up your car? I have not gotten a call from him but my car is parked out front, albeit in the same spot I left it when I dropped it off.

Had the same question. Wait a full in game day and go back to his office and he should have a document there for you to pay. If not he's not done but if it's there then your all set to go. The mechanic will NOT call you when your car is ready.

if you miss the call from repair shop and you are curiouse whats your car doing than drive there and look... you payed already for the job.. if its done you can take your car even without answering the call.. i do it every time like this

Answering the phone means nothing. It takes time for things to happen - once the time has passed, you can do it. The phone call is just a reminder. Septic tanks can be pumped every 3-4 days, firewood every 1, deliveries take over night.

Delivery's dont take over night, you can use the toilet to save behind the bar which advances time 2 hours, most iv had to wait is 6 hours, also i'v had delivery's in the time it takes to fill up the trucks tank.
