Gunshot sound from engine on start
I start the engine on the old rusty car and i hear an explosion. When i built the car the first time on another save this was obviously caused by not properly tuning and adjusting the engine. But this time i tried adjusting everything and it still gives the same exploding gunshot sound. My air to fuel ratio should be fine because the smoke is the correct color but i am not completely sure. I ordered the air fuel gauge so i will see if it is actually the mixture. But any suggestion on what else this could be?

thanks!

It it bangs and you can't start it again, it's your crankshaft alligment. You need to allign it with the marking on the engine block.

well it seems my game is bugged as now the car wont start at all. I took it to the shop waited for repairs and it just doesnt start at all. I then went into msceditor to see what i could do. A few parts were still damaged after repair at the shop so i just repaired everything to see if my save was bugged. It seems that i wont ever get the car starting again on this save.

Thanks for the help anyways :/

Fleetari doesn't repair the engine itself, he only repairs broken parts if you dismantle them and take it to him. I think your game wasn't bugged, you just didn't knew what to do

well i looked on msceditor and it said all the parts were fine and i even changed the condition of each part to 100% and still no luck. I disassembled the engine and all the parts seemed fine. It most certainly is bugged

did you check satsuma report on both maintenance and parts, and then check the items section of satsuma report?

Could be camshaft, distributor, carbourator, or messed up sparkplugs.
