Inspection emission fail

Hello, whenever I try to pass the inspection it fails due to the emissions. I have tried everything with no sucess. Please help.

15.0 is where you want it to pass then turn it back down to wherever

Adjust carb & use the stock carb.

You can pass with the dual carbs if you have them set to the deafult mixture as well, I've passed twice with them already

Make sure your valves aren't all the way open. That will make you fail too. I tighten them down 3 or 4 ticks.

You can have valves open as much as possible and still pass, the trick is to tune lean. 15.1 AFR always works for me.

Pretty sure you want your engine to be at operating temp also when it gets inspected.

Good to know. I've failed before with open valves (then passed after tightening them), but I was tuned to 14.7.

And you definitely want the engine temp to be at normal operating temp, otherwise you'll be running really rich no matter the tune and you'll fail. Also make sure the choke is all the way in.

all the emissions test checks is that your AFR is above 14.1, any other variables it does not care about whatsoever

ofc the race carbs instafail the engine section of the inspection but that doesn't count
