Crankshaft worn?
2nd time I'v had this issue, my car runs for a while and then starts to loose power, dyes, and refuses to start again.
I think it could be a crankshaft but not to sure.

Sounds like worn pistons.
Did it shake.

When it refuces to start again could mean other part is failing. Does car make any strange sound before it dies?

Does starter work when u try to start it again? If starter doesn't work it could be due to too low battery charge and if battery charge is dropping while driving then alternator is not charging battery properly anymore. When alternator fails completety u get belt whine because alternator is not spinning(u can see it visually) and belt slips.
(Or u've just forgotten to attach wire from alternator)

Check rockershaft that all 8 valve springs are there. Usually it makes ticking/clicking sound after springs break off. Car won't start with broken rockershaft.

There’s no noises when trying to start it backup after it starts dying, alternator is fairly new and battery was charging fine.

No the revs just slowly drop and the engine cuts out and refuses to start backup.

Did u check rockershaft that it still has all 8 springs?

Doesn't crankshaft or piston failure always cause damage to engine block (and possibly to oilpan and rockershaft too)?
If u suspect crankshaft u can just look inside engine(crouch all the way down and use reach-button) to see that if it's broken, it will just bend/break and won't be straight anymore.
With worn pistons u can still drive car but it's just weak in power, engine shouldn't die until complete piston failure(piston flies out of engine block)

It could also be sparkplug(s) breaking (or maybe distributor screw is loose if u have adjusted that some time before the drive)

Sounds like the pistons.
Crankshaft would have made the car shake, before it died completely.

Actually yes the car has been a bit down on power latley. Thanks :D

Checked MSC editor. Piston wear is at 10. What should I set it to?

You should leave it alone and go to fleetaris to fix your car. MSCEditor defeats the point of the game, plus you feel pride and accomplishment when you fix the car yourself

Wear values should be near 100.

Wear 10 is like almost broken. Wear 100 is brand new, wear 0 is completely broken.
Except fan belt, fan belt is broken when at 100 and when at 0, fan belt is completely fine.

True. But replacing the pistons would invole me basically taking the entire engine apart, which I really don't feel like doing considering iv replaced loads of parts already.

Actually taking out the pistons is easy, just take of the cilinder head or whatever it's called. Now replacing the crankshaft is a pain, that one requires you to take out the whole engine

I think it's probably the pistons that are shot

Replaced pistons and car made it to the shop without problems, where as before it would break down on the highway. Thanks for all the help guys :D
