Ok so I have sold maybe 5 batches of kilju so far in this game. I have never once had an issue with it. 6 packs of sugar, 1 pack of yeast fill the bucket let it brew until you get brown sediment at the very bottom and the rest of the liquid is clear. And trust me I am poor as ♥♥♥♥, so I am on the bucket as soon as it stops bubbling, it doesn't have a chance to go off, and then I bring it direct to sell right after I fill the bottles.

Anyway this last batch he said it tastes like pickles in ♥♥♥♥. I thought maybe I had gotten really unlucky and the first bottle I gave him was the the brine at the bottom of the barrel. But I waited a day and gave him another bottle and he said the same thing. Now I have 18 bottles of kilju which apparently all taste like vinegar and I have no idea why or what to do with it all.

Just have to sell it anyway or drink it ? Maybe a bug or you miscounted

I have opened the lid in previous brews which was no issue, but as far as I can remember I didn't for this brew. I had no reason to, cause I know now I just need to wait for the brew to stop bubbling. As for miscounting. I only had 6 bags of sugar left, I had them stacked on my shelf in a pyramid. 3 on the bottom, 2 in the middle 1 on top, and I can't miscount Yeast, because it is only one.

Finally he wont let me sell it to him even. He takes the one bottle drinks it says it tastes like pickled piss and then tells me to take it out of there and anything I put on the table can be picked up again and he wont take it.

Yeah I did not leave it open though. Or even open it until I was ready to harvest it, and I also didn't open it during the brewing process.

I am on my way to him for a third time to try and sell one last bottle.... if not I am stuck with 17 bottles of vinegar which I can't even sell to him.

Also of it does Turn to vinegar. Doesnt the liquid in the bucket look different too?

Well this thread is basically pointless. I got bugged out for no reason. Now I need to figure out how I can fix this issue. So if I give him one good bottle of killju and then the rest as bottles of vinegar, will he still slash my tires? Also someone on another thread said that the brine on the bottom of the barrel also gets this reaction. So if you always give him at least one bottle of vinegar in each batch. Is there a percentage of good vs bad bottles which wills top him from slashing your tires?

No difference between the bottom-of-the-barrel kilju and rest of the kilju, you get 20 bottles of the same quality.

Thanks man. That saves me a ♥♥♥♥ tonne of time. Guess I will buy some new tires for the rally and then let him slash my old set so I can get rid of all this kilju. I need the bottles anyway and some new tires anyway

Go into MSCEdit and set kiljuvinegar integer to zero, and then make sure you wash the bucket out after every batch made by filling it with plain water, pressing on lid, and then rotating, dump out, refill, and start brew.

I have never had to "wash" the bucket out. Just dump, water, sugar, yeast, wait.

Maybe try doing a different mixture and then go back to 6 sugar 1 yeast method. You may just have a bugged game though I've never heard of this so.
