loop of dying?

So I decided to give this game a solid shot and went through with building the satsuma and whatnot but I think I found this loop of dying over and getting frustrated... I ended up getting hit in the van on the way to the shop to buy a battery considering I overcharged the stock one somehow and it wont hold anything... But i died on a sunday. Once I wake up I wanted to make the attempt of getting drunk and spawning back at home but the pub nor the shop is open on sundays... I wound up taking the bus on several attempts all of which leading me to walk the road to the house till I die of thirst.... even after drinking my own pee... any advice?
not playing on permadeath obviously because im too clumsy.

You can hitchhike with the green car that drives around the dirt roads. Press 'O' to stick your thumb out and he'll stop for you. Get in and he'll drive you home.

You can take the bus to the first busstop (at Fleetari's garage) then wait on the intersection for the green car to come along. Or wait in town for the green car.

Or get knocked out by the guy in the yellow car at the fuelstation, this will sometimes respawn you at home to.

The more you play the less frequent your deaths are going to be. At least it worked like so in my case..

True, you get good at it. You learn to think about what you're doing or planning on doing. Always bring food and drinks with you if you go anywhere, even just delivering chopped wood with the tractor I bring 2 packs of milk in case I get stranded in a ditch or whatever. Driving the Satsuma always bring tools and a full jug of coolant, oil, brakefluid with you, you never know.

If the game offers you a shortcut at any time in any way, weigh the risks before taking that shortcut.

In town I think he starts specifically at the football field area, at least that is where he used to start so that may have been changed.

It wont help the current situation but some tips to remember in future is: Take the moped with you in another vehicle on a trip to the shops (the satsuma can be tricky to fit the moped in without glitching about so best to use van or rucsko) and leave it there, then when you die and spawn at the church you have transport nearby (remember to take it back on your next trip to the shops).

Another way is: (only works if you just need 1 bag or 1 carryable thing from the shop) Ride the moped to the boat then put the moped in the boat, take the boat to the dock near the shops then get on moped to the shops. Once your done at the shop place your bag at the side of the moped, get on moped and start it then press the lean button and you can pick up the bag. As long as you dont press LMB or 'use' button you can then ride it home carrying the bag. Next time you die walk to the docks and take the boat to the dock near home

The moped is good to place in several spots, sadly it's a singular vehicle. I usually keep mine at Fleetari's(playing in mortal mode :P ) except for when I am anticipating getting arrested by the cops that's when I place it in the city. I'm not a big fan of the Ferndale.

When bus has taken you to closest stop dont run home, just walk. Ok it takes slightly longer time to get home but u wont die to thirst.

Prepare yourself for next time if this happens again by leaving beer case and some food outside of store, then u can take bus and run home with that beercase, or u can swim to island with beercase(unless u already have stashed beercase and food there), sleep on the cottage sofa and then swim to home pier.
