Hannes Kolehmainen achievement, how to get?

Need help with Hannes Kolehmainen achievement, the one which you get by doing the rally on foot. I did (and failed it) like this:

- Buy bunch of coffee from Teimo before rally and dump it all over the race track
- Next day (saturday) come to rally
- Drive to start area, get the "Get ready..." message on top of screen, get out of car before "Go!" and start running along the track
- Stop to drink coffee at the "pit-stops" I created, so I won't die of fatigue while running through the entire thing
- Get to the finish line, the message "Finish!" pops up
- No achievement

What did I do wrong?

Playing on experiemental version. Already done this twice, and considering it takes 1-2h of time to manage it from start to finish, I'd like to know how to get the achievement through methods other than trial & error, specially when I don't get any indication on what I did wrong. =/
