Battery keeps dying.
Is this happening to anyone else? I started the Satsuma, drove it into the garage, shut it off, changed the exhaust from the stock pipe to the racing pipe and exhaust...car wouldn't start. Battery was dead and the charger show's it's completely dead (not chargeable).

Nothing is turned on, the key was not in the ignition, all wire connections are tight wtf?

Alternator isn't hooked up completely.

I looked at that manually and it is completely hooked up, bolts are tight too. I found in the editor in the wiring list that the right headlight wiring wasn't bolted but the left one was so I fixed that. Maybe that was doing it and I also found in the editor that 'wiringswitchlightbolted' is false. Is there a bolt for the light switch???? I changed it to true anyway just in case.

You have the regulator wired up too? Alternator wires to the and the regulator wires into the fire wall connections. If those are good then its potientially just a bad battery or the terminal connections werent screwed down.

Did u leave satsumas door open while u were working on it, and possible saved before trying to start it again. Then it coud've been satsumas roof/interior light that drained battery because door was open.

Did it drain fully? If not then u can recharge it, if dash oil light works then it can be recharged, just have it in the charger until needle is about halfway up)

I've used the editor to insure everything was wired so yes.
I've gone through 8 batteries so far. If it wasn't the switch and the headlight coming unbolted I can't imagine that every battery I've used so far was bad. I also don't assume they're all good because I did notice that they're only half charged when you buy them.

Upload your save somewhere and we could check it out see if you're missing something.

LMFAO!!! That's probably what did it! And I do that all of the time so that explains why it kept happening. I'll start making sure the door is closed and reach in to do stuff when I'm working on it.

Also, don't set all the wiring to bolted, only the starter and battery wires are bolted

is the red light next to the speedo on while the car is running? if it is the alternator isnt charging the battery.

that is correct, if you start messing with the true/false values for those your gonna mess up your save... becarful :-)

So if the altenator isn't charging, does it need replacing or is it because of the altenator belt?

Why not just reply instead of being a ♥♥♥♥? If someone looks Frederik's question up, all we are going to find is "It's been 2 years", and that's not really an answer

well the answer to his question is " its caused by alternator"

Heeey--

If the alternator is not charging while RUNNING then:
- first tune the belt
- ensure ALL wiring is done
- if doesn't help, replace alternator

If the alternator is not charging while car ISN'T running, then it's normal.

Also, my battery died - yep - because of a constantly open door.
