Tuning the twin carb
When tuning the carb, i set it to 13.1 in neutal gear when revving but when i'm driving at high speeds (180+) it goes up into the 15s. Is this supposed to happen?

You should tune any carb when the engine has been warmed up. Did you tune the carb with a warm engine?

My BOY! You are going 180+ with a 1L 4cylinder pushrod engine! It is overheating. Normal cars are 1.4-2.5L engines and barely do 180km/h. But they don't overheat soooo :)

And when it get HOT the A/F ratio changes. It is getting to lean and at 15 your about to destroy the engine (running above 15 is hurting it quite allot)

Do you have the upgraded cooler? If you do the car is just running normal. (if fluids are checkt)

If you try with stock cooler I understand why you are confused. It is barely able to cool the stock engine due to damages to the fins and clogs / ♥♥♥♥ inside of the fins. (cooling surfaces)

At speeds above about 100km/h the drag resistense of a car having to push air around it starts to rapidly increase. So even now Satsuma is light it still have to deal with the same amount of air resistense. = at 180+ you are pushing that little engine HARD. Just as hard as a 2x sized engine in a normal road car. That is why you need numers like 1500hp to go 400km/h.

Same reason why fule usage increases allot if you drive fast even with a powerfull car. It just takes allot of energy!

If it starts to go above 14.5 (or at most 15.3) shut the engine off and have it in N. You lose not that mutch speed and shoud be able to keep it rooling until your down to 90km/h and just turn it on agen and drive fast ones more ;) Good luck
