Rust Fix

I can't seem to find any mods that simply clean the parts up so I am not building some rusty junker. I saw one or two that just chromed out and put carbon fibre on everything, but I'm not interested in that. If it's a last resort, sure, but even then I am not sure how to install it.

there's no way to remove the bumps caused by the rust sadly, you can only try to hide them by painting over them

Sorry, I wasn't super clear, I was talking about the parts such as the springs, swing arms, and so on. Evena ll of the rusty looking bits in the motor. Back in the day I saw some skins for themt o make them new looking. Can't seem to find them though.

Some engine parts can be painted, and the rally suspension isn't rusty

An angle grinder with consumable flap discs would make a reasonable tool for this. Also the rust would/should reappear, if just to keep the player busy.

And the mod I saw was a skin I guess, made everything look nice and new. All the suspension, gas tank, engine parts, and so on.

you can also paint crankshaft pulley
