The Wiring Mess
I saw that MSC added the wiring mess in experimental mode a while ago. Now it has been implemented into the standard game. Before I fry the Satsuma, what are some tips that I should know?

Do not install the battery until you're ready to hook the battery up. Do not turn the key unless you are done wiring completely. Electricity can kill you and it does not care where you live or what you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

If something isn't on the car isn't working or a plug looks empty, try removing what isn't connected to see if there is something hidden(the headlights are hiding some plugs).

You may have to loosen a bolt on part of the starter for one of the bits of wiring. *hint hint wink wink*

Back up your save in case all goes wrong and you kill the car :steammocking:

Remember to connect the red (positive) connection first (and bolt it, 8 mm) before the ground connector or you'll get sparks
First of all, it can't be wired incorrectly, so you dont need to worry about that. Also, that "dead" battery you start with works well as a placemarker to get the wires to/from the battery, just DO NOT tighten the bolts on the battery until you are completely finished with wiring it, and even then, you want to tighten the red (positive) battery terminal first, THEN the black (negitive) one.

Also, if you are just starting out, not all wire connections will be used, at first. Some examples are the additional guages (water/oil/voltage and fuel air mixture guages) along with the connections to the car AMP and subwoofers.

A few other tips that will help out is when wiring the headlights, you must remove them 1st, or else you wont be able to wire them. The wire connection from the rear connectors (ones in the trunk) to the fuel tank can be a bit tricky, but if you "lean into" the trunk, more on the right side, you will see the hole and the connector on the fuel tank.

Finally, if you are completely lost, here's this.....

Ok, I think things are going well so far. Thanks for the advice! Also the last sentence about electricity made me laugh:steamhappy:

That wasn't my intention. Just had a song stuck in my head and went with it while writing the comment. Don't kill yourself now like I did.
