Hood wont go on

When i try to put the hood on there is no checkmark at ALL whatsoever, i try to angle it and nothing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens. It's like the game doesn't want to install the hood lmao, can somebody help?

It's pretty tricky sometimes, this has been an issue since forever. It's the reason I stopped using the fibreglass hood.

Sometimes saving and reloading helps.

i find if you hold it higher than you should like a foot or more you usually get the check mark

try MSCeditor : find hood,set install to true and save

Yes, the only fact is that MSC editor causes game save corruption and you shouldn't get it unless you want to ♥♥♥♥ up all your data

yeah, I got it to work though, but seriously, MSC editor completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ up all your game saves leaving you in pain and agony. I couldn't even do anything because of a nice error message that plastered across my beautiful screen saying that it might corrupt my game saves, and i am not being PG right now am i?

Not sure what you're doing with the editor, but it never caused any issues for me. And yes, I've sometimes used it to install (not bolt) parts such as the hood that just wouldn't go on otherwise. Amongst other things.
