RPM won't come down + engine won't shut off!!
I have a problem. When i turn on the engine it idles completely fine. When I push the throttle it revs, but when I let go off the throttle, the RPMs don't drop at all the engine keeps reving. Also when i turn off the ignition the engine keeps running so I have to shove it in gear and depress the clutch with handbrake on to turn it off.

I thought this was a bug with my usb steering wheel (g27), but it does the same with keyboard aswell as with when I pull the throttle manualy on the carb. I also tried running it without the air filter but it does the same.

You have dirt in the carb from running without an air filter.

I tried adjusting carb, valves and also ignition timing. Didn't work.
I can't have dirt from running without airfilter, because i just built the car and started it for the first time.
I tried deleting the "meshsave.txt" and just discovered that the RPM now go very slowly up and also very slowly down and I can now at least turn off the engine normaly with the key.

Using mods?

nope none, the only thing i did is that i (before it happened) replaced the original "meshsave.txt" with a clear meshsave in order to fix my car because it jumped in my garage when i was pushing it. This meshsave file worked just fine many times in older patches. I wonder if it's some bug caused because of this, but it seems like a legit mechanical error

Possible you can share the savefile, so it can be easier to diagnose.

There is dirt in the carburetor.
And the engine is not adjusted correctly.

By the way, tighten down those sparkplugs.

To be frank I had a similar problem when I tried adjusting the rocker shaft with a turned off engine and screwed it majorly(sadly with this build I had to use MSC Editor to fix it). Still I guess the problem has been diagnosed and pointed out :)

omg I completely forgot to tighten them!! thanks!!

So I tightened the sparkplugs and tried adjusting the engine. It runs better, but still the revs drop very slowly. I also tried adjusting the valve timing but that didn't seem to be the issue. Eventually my engine blew up.

The distributor is way off. It only needs to be 3 turns away from making noise.

And the valves gives is 20 down and 7 up. That a fair good tune.

Yeah I know. I'm having the carburetor fixed by Fleetari now, so I'll see how it will work out
