Report a translation problem
Still refuses to idle at a smooth RPM, and still stalls.
Oh, and try new spark plugs if that doesn't work. Spark plugs are seperate items so they don't show up in MSCE unless you open up items.txt
As of the moment I'm typing this, I'm about to go into the game and try a manual adjustment of the distributor. I had used MSCEditor to adjust it, but maybe it failed to do so properly....
Edit: Manually adjusted the distributor, which was, indeed, pinging. Although, still needs fine-tuning, since it's currently backed off several clicks from where it starts pinging. Engine now idles and stays running, although still does not stay running smoothly. RPM still drops on a regular basis.
And now, I'm right back to the Satsuma refusing to stay running at all, without me having to keep the gas pedal on the floor. Almost literally.
I can hold the gas pedal to the floor, and the engine RPM keeps going up and down and up and down, like there's a big brake on the crankshaft that keeps cycling on and off.
Satsuma report still says there's no damaged parts, and everything is in good maintenance.
I do not see this effect in any other vehicle, just the Satsuma.
I can capture a video demonstrating the problem and post it on youtube, just let me know if there's anything specific that you'd need me to show in the video....
Sparkplugs are not saved in the "defaultES2File".
While recording that video, I decide to swap out the spark plugs for new ones. So, I captured a video of myself finding out that all four spark plugs were not tightened down. Not one click.
*facepalm*
Tightened them down, now it runs and idles perfectly.
Thanks! :)
