IRL it's pretty common to see people driving around without the front plate though, either because they don't like it or because they believe they can evade the speed cameras that way. If stopped, they'll have some explanation which the cops might or might not believe. But since it's MSC where the player is stopped every time for a breathalyzer test while no one else isn't, I think it's safe to assume they wouldn't listen to any excuses.
I only had it installed when the car was first inspected, because the front bumper is needed to pass it (I think). I since took it off, and haven't had any issues since
Might be a translation error, but that doesn't make it a "trash game", as in garbage. But you might be right, as Codeslamer said that the front plate is not required my guess is that the checkpoint trigger only checks if the car is inspected at all or not (leimapaperiin or something similar if I recall correctly)
AFAIK you can't remove the plates once installed at the moment. Would be a funny update if you were required to screw them on (and were able to remove them), but what wouldn't be in the changelog would be that the cops actually check if they're installed or not.
In some cases tho, they will just put the license plate on the dash of the car and have it proped up a bit so its viewable from the front. Remember kids, the law states that both front and rear plates need to be visable, but it doesn't state WHERE the plates have to be placed.
with msc editor. thats how i did it
True, whether it's visible enough or not is up to the inspection worker. Technically one on the dash would be legal provided it doesn't block visibility too much. The law only says it should be in the front at a maximum angle of 30 degrees.
Apparently you can be fined for having it inside the windshield, though, as it can be quickly and easily hidden and the cameras may not recognize it through the glass: Finnish article about youth doing exactly that and getting fined[www.imatralainen.fi]
