Adjust it as loose as possible where it doesn't whine.
To move alternator further/closer aim at it with hand(u get hand icon) and then u can roll it with mousewheel, to tighten the screw on it be in toolmode+take screwdriver and aim carefully at screwhead so u don't accidentally move alternator anymore.
I dont remember which way is richer mix(u want to have richer mix if it's stalling), car should idle even with cold engine, but if u haven't adjusted valve spring screws then carb adjustment might not help with stalling.
The standard carb and dual carb have one adjustment screw, racing carb has 4screws.
