Is the smoke identical to the exhaust smoke at the back of the car? Does it go dark when you pull the choke out just like the exhaust at the back?

If so, the headgasket is about to fail. While it looks ok, it has only a few % of health left and will fail shortly. If you replace it the smoke should be gone. Keep driving it and the headgasket will blow out.

ok now in order to get the head gasket fixed do i have to bring the whole car to feltari or can i just take the headgasket , put it on his desk on select repair broken parts?

Take off your headgasket and a new one will appear for purchase at the mechanic’s shop.

Fleetari doesn't fix the entire car anymore. You have to bring him the broken part, put it on his counter and either have him repair it (this gives the repaired part a random health percentage) or buy a new part off the shelf. I recommend the latter.

Headgasket replacement is easy

- airfilter
- rockercover
- electrics
- unscrew bolts connecting exhaust pipe with headers
- top radiator hose
- cylinderhead
- headgasket

- reverse the above

You just need to take off the rocket cover and cylinder head to replace the headgasket. Everything else will remain on.

Thanks Guys! lol i'm waiting for it to completely fail :P i just make sure my coolant and oil are full!
I've only done 54km since building the satsuma this time witch is why i found and still find it odd that i already need a head gasket!

The condition of the parts are random when you first start off. Some of your parts can be around 10% at the start. I would recommend replacing everything else and you should be good for awhile.

The parts are:

Headgasket

All pistons

Water pump

Alternator

Starter

Rocker shaft

Gearbox

Crankshaft

The condition of the new parts will be over 90%. It will cost some major cash though; around 6 grand. You can dump all of the parts on the mechanic’s counter and have him repair them for a cheaper price. The condition of those parts are 50-70% I think. Good luck!

Thank you! so far i've Replaced the head gasket and rockershaft. the satsuma is now at flitari for tuning
Tony Jan 25, 2018 @ 2:31pm
And it keeps coming lol , sooooo i,ve replaced head gasket and rockershaft but when i look in msc editor it still shows it as 11.00 witch im assuming is high ware. but i bought the new part i didnt get fletari to fix it. i put it together myself! the only thing i had the mechanic do was the tuning. i'm wondering 1 could he have sold me a bad part! and 2 if it wasent bad at the moment of sale could he have broken it while he was tuning the car!

Are you sure you got the new ones? You clicked on the part from the shelf, paid at the register, and another appeared on his counter right? I actually was confused the first time buying new parts so that is why I am asking. The parts you get new are always 90-99%.
Tony Jan 25, 2018 @ 3:40pm
well i bought the ones on the shelf are there suppose to be 2 rockershalfs and 2 headgaskets on his desk or do your old ones get replaced by the ones you bought on the shelf?

best course of action: dismount any part you need to be fixed. This makes replacement parts available at Fleetaris. However: just leave those loose parts in the corner somewhere and don't take them with you. Now you go to Fleetari and purchase what you need (pretty much a copy of all the parts that are now removed from the engine/car will be available)

You click on each part inside the sideboard, then click on the cash register (to pay) -> the selcted parts will acumulate on Fleetari's counter. You can now grab them and take them home.
You will notice your old warn parts have vanished into thin air :D

ahhhh this makes it much easyier the part doesent have to be with you at fletari's just taken off of the car!

Either your exhaust manifold (headers) are loose or you have to change your head gasket

I like to play as realistically as possible. You can't reach the rockercover bolts with the airfilter still on, you can't take the cylinderhead of without disconnecting the exhaust pipe or the radiator hose. And normally you would unplug the sparkplug wires but seen as is this is just 'electrics' you can't in the game, so I take the whole thing of including the coil.
