Can shotgun guy actually kill you?

I'm curious... Can the guy with the shotgun actually kill you? I've spent quite some time teasing him, and he keeps telling me off, but after a while, he ends up knocking himself out on my car or other objects he walks into. Will he eventually actually shoot me?

I'm being purposely vague about who I mean - my searches, and the lack of results, suggest not many people are aware of it. If that's the case, I don't want to spoil the surprise.

if you piss him off to much he shoots at the ground. but he never shoots you or your car

I dont know if he can actually kill you but he shot at me but missed when i was peeling rubber with the minibike on the track

He'll only fire warning shots

Awww man... I did eventually get the shots, but that's a bit disappointing that he doesn't have a chance of actually hitting you. TLG should add a 10% chance of being killed each time he fires :P

I think it would be good if after 5 or so warning shots he shoots your tyres.

He will fire warning shots but won't actually harm you
