Van disappeared or Uncle reclaimed?

I went to pick up the drunk man with the van after I got his call. I picked him up, drove him home, and got back home with the van with various items in the back. I went to sleep in my bed because my fatigue was pretty high and when I woke up the van disappeared and all my stuff that was in the back of the van was floating in the air where the van used to be.

Does the uncle take the van away? Or am I dealing with something else here. I started the game in the experimental version and then it updated automatically. Thanks.

Your uncle drives it now so he takes it back along with the keys. I assume the same for the tanker since he owns both of them. When he's home (the van will be outside his house when he is) you have to go and ask for the keys again, same for tanker. At least until he loses his licence (so the rumor goes) and you have full access to them again.

Just win / steal the Ruscko. It's the van in car form. Mind the wasp nest inside the car. Even if it's late dusk or night and they are dorment, as soon as you start the car they will attack you. I just killed them with MSCEditor. Best of all if you steal it the owner never comes after it. Downside is, no seat belts, no licence plate so you can get a ticket at police checkpoints and the wasp nest inside the car is a eyesore.

Thanks, I knew about the Ruscko, but I didn't know that the uncle reclaimed the van.

No problem.

The last version was more or less to show what was currently in the game and how everything worked, this version introduced the overall story of the game which also included your Uncle owning the van and tanker. Now you have to actually borrow the van and tanker from him instead of having full access to them at all times. Which also means he comes and takes them and the keys back.

Like the patch notes said you will at some point have full access to them again. People are saying this happens in two in-game weeks when your Uncle loses his license.

its strange where people say that it takes atleast 2 weeks for uncle to lose his licence although its been 3 and a half weeks and i still dont find him sitting outside

do you have the keys for the van?

yea i have the keys but uncle took the van away from me and i didnt use fuel oil i had the same problem as the author of this discussion

did he called you about it? did you check the inspection shop for the van?

he didnt call me and the van wasnt at the inspection shop

pretty sure some vehicles have different respawn points (like ferndale spawning at shop)
did you ever saw the uncle outside their house sitting on the chair?
