Things about pike

I have a lot of pike that I amassed over several days in game.The reason being is because Granny dearest asked. Is there anything I should know before spoiling the entire batch?

Dont take them out of the cage yet, take them out only when you get to a heat source to cook them. Grill them on embers, if you flame them they'll burn

Alright, when all of the above is met, do you just leave them to cook for a while? Or rather, how long does it take?

The way i did it was that I put them on the kitchen stove and cooked them. The pike turns to grilled pike when cooked, and will look a little more orange and will literally say "griled pike". To cook faster move the fish around on the stove.

You have about 20 min of RT (2 hr game) to grill them before they become rotten.
Grilled pike are worth 200 each - Grandma is the only buyer.
Grilled pike will not despawn (accumulate at your leisure)
Grandma will only pay 1000 max for any combination of food requested, she requests fish - deposit 5 grilled pike

Any not sold can be spread far and wide - never be without easy access
Leave a few piles of 5 at Grandma's for easy access
I average 20 or so fish every 2 weeks when I go 'fishing' - you're even allowed to pile all of them on the grill at once to cook if you're in a hurry LOL

Gave her like 10 grilled pike or more, I got 1000 instead of 2000 or 2200-2500.

I think it won't spoil, but tbh, it should... anyway, I do keep those on my fridge at home after grilling.

LOL, just opened my current game save in MSCEditor
I have 131 grilled pike spread around and tomorrow is my designated 'fishing' day (every other Sunday)

I have the trap near cottage every week. I spend sat-sun at cottage and grill the pike and get drunk. I've never had more than 11 pike in trap.

I've not seen any mention of this but haven't needed to look. I've counted fishes caught between my fishing trips.
22 fish in 14 days @ cottage dockside is the max ever counted so far at this spot
One playthrough I tried dockside at home - got 5 fish in a week - immediately abandoned that area
