MSC loader patcher is virus?

i never had this before ever.. i start the patcher and windows says its a virus

Make sure you downloaded it from a reputable source (racedepartment.com, or the authors GitHub, which is listed on the racedepartment's listing)

I've seen a bunch of people lately asking where to download mods for this game without having to log in, this is the risk they take just to avoid spending 2 minutes creating an account.

I'm not saying YOU did that, it's more of a general warning to anyone else that might come across this post.

What version of mod loader are you trying to run?

1.1.1 currently and yesteday i played without any warnings and today virus detected

Well, the source IS on GitHub, so finding out what's in it would be insanely simple.

turns out it was just a windows problem fixed it now

Race Department is reputable - as a long time source of viruses and malicious code sprinkled among their legitimate offerings. A recent mod and its creator for this game comes immediately to mind.
