I think if you change the carbodypainttype to 2 it changes to metallic type paint. You may have to do this for all parts you have installed (doors, hood, etc)

we are also trying to be helpful. the point of the game is independence, hard work, commitment, teaching life lessons such as that nothing worth getting is easy to get. using save editors to cheat totally circumvents the point of the game and the valuable experiences that come with it. the easy way is not the best way, it is just the easy way. the point i'm trying to make is that unless you play this game like it was meant to be played, you miss out on all the actual rewarding experiences it has to offer, it makes it just like any other free roam driving game, and that's absolutely not what the developer wants it to be.
