Satsuma won't start after Fleetari tuned it.
So I had my Satsuma together and running and brought it to Fleetari to tune the engine, straighten the steering, and replace the windshield. (It broke when I put the dashboard in.) Now after Fleetari's had it, it cranks but won't start. It has gas, the oil pressure is there and I've even played with the choke, still nothing. What should I be checking? I have the Extra Gauges and F/A gauge installed.

Spark plugs?
Räkan Oct 5, 2019 @ 2:42am
maybe something is wrong with the timing or electricity

The spark plugs are there, and I checked all the wiring earlier. Does Fleetari break things? I had a garage like that that I used to go to. Plus I had it running in the garage, it was just running sort of rough. I've checked the parts in MSCEditor after searching on 'wear' and everything is in the OK range, is that the right way to check part wear?

Sure, but is everything tuned right? If you have MSCEditor, go to 'Tools' and select 'Satsuma Report' and from there go to 'Maintenance' and check that everything is okay.

Ok! Coolant level is at 0 and fanbelt tightness is 8, marked as Bad. I distinctly thinking that it's nice that I can see if coolant is leaking out of the bottom because of the mechanic's pit, maybe it was leaking closer to the engine? I'll get back to Fleetari's with some coolant and a toolkit. I see seem to be his only customer anyway, I can leave my car in the driveway. :D

:D Hope it fixes the problem.

OK, it's a slow leak and I can't pin it down. All three hoses are in place and there's nothing to tighten there except the radiator bolts, and they're tight. The alternator belt I've got as tight as I can get it, I don't know what else to do but replace the belt. Also this is interesting: In the Blots and Bits tab the engine block, crankshaft, pistons 2 and 3, and the rockershaft are all marked as 'damaged'. Is "repair all parts" the wrong thing to do here?

The car can start without coolant and an untighten ed belt, but it warms up faster and the car makes a squealing noise

Regarding the damaged parts, it's normal. The wear on the base parts are random, but around 50%. Clicking on "repair all parts" will just reset their condition to 100%, so it's a safe move.

However, if the car doesn't start, I'd check the battery.

Actually the battery's fine! I'm using the original battery, the new one I bought at the store is on the charger with the needle almost all the way to the right. Guess they really don't make 'em like they used to!
So I've got it running for the moment, time to go for a drive and get inspected!

It won't move while in gear. I blame Fleetari.

Idk if OP still needs help with this, but apparently, fletari bugs out the battery, after doing some checking, loosening screws, messing with parts.....looseing more screws...i found out that, the battery, even if its brand spanking new, will bug out and count as a ghost battery, aka its like its not even there, so what i did, i went to teimo, got a new battery, slapped it on, and the engine started, no problem
