mssing halfshaft

i took my engine out at fleetaris and my halfshaft disappeared, i looked at the dump, the garage at the house and i even looked in the ruscko since i drove it there just to see if it spawned in there for some weird reason, i walked all around the back of fleetaris and the neighoring houses and i still havent found it this is like a game breaking glitch and if i still cant find it im gonna have to bump this to bug forum

and also is there anyway to get around this without msc editor or starting a new game

might have yeeted on the roof or somewhere else.
Use MSC editor to teleport it at home.

Lost items spawn at the dump area next to the wooden toilet as far as I know. If it ain't there, then idk.

No, that wouldn't work, the half-shaft isn't saved in items.txt, it's saved in the main save file defaultES2File.txt (and you'll lose your save if you delete that).

MSCEditor is really the only reliable way of getting parts back if lost.
