All you ever race is a time-clock during the Rally.
Yes it takes into account other AI racers for the rally time clock, to give you and idea at the end how you stack up against others. But in MSC you never actually race side by side with any physical AI racers/cars.
They just drive around, you don't race them.
Yes of course they go fast, they are reckless showoffs.
How do you not have Satsuma setup and able to drive well over 200+ kmh, as that is not hard, nor is it hard to circle the highway all day while maintaining max speed the entire time.
I'm pretty sure Jani even has a voice line for when you initate a race.
The only thing I haven't done on the Satsuma is modify the final gear ratio because I like the stock one. All other upgrades are installed. I'll have to set it to 3.700 to see how it matches up, but even then they seem to be moving very very fast.
it seems that with any ratio default or lower it's impossible to get past 200. it's not so much their speed that seems fast to me, but their acceleration, their top speed is probably realistic but the speed at which they get to it is not.
''So you want to race? I don't know about this. that car of yours is so ♥♥♥♥ (etc)...''
