The fly noise?
I just purchased this game as it was recommended by a friend who said if I liked Jalopy, I might like this game. The first thing I notice when I started to play was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fly noise, who thought that was a good idea to add into the game? I understand "Finnish" realism and all that, but does it have to be that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loud and does it have to be making that noise every 2 or 3 seconds? If there isn't a way to shut this thing up I am immediatley requesting a refund, this is ridiculuous, and spraying mosquito spray is not a valid option , I want this ♥♥♥♥ off it is driving me insane.

Heat up the sauna to 100+ C, and fill up the water bucket. Use the dipper (click F when holding) to take water from bucket and put directly onto the heater, causing steam. Wait for the blur on the edges of your screen to go away and then pour more water on the heater. Do that until your dirtiness is low, then the flies will go away :)

I know about this, but I can't figure it out, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous that I have to go through this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ just to stop an annoying noise, if possible, I would like to remove the .mp3 or wherver the game pulls the bird noises and the fly noises, it is driving me insane, and if this is not possible I am REFUNDING this and I will just go buy car mechanic simulator.

Please don't. CMS is a hand-holding disaster. Here's how to get rid of the annoying sounds:

go to the sauna room and crouch down as low as you can, then scroll down on both of the dials to turn on the sauna and turn the temperature up to maximum. Make sure to close the sauna door after you exit. Now, get in your van and turn it on. (It uses a diesel engine, so click on the ignition and then wait until the glow plugs are hot, you will know when both the little icons near the speedometer dim out). This thing's pretty loud, so it should drown out the sounds of the flies. Make sure to grab the gasoline jerry can from the garage and the diesel jerry can from the shack with the flatbed and sewage truck outside of it.

Now you'll go to the shop and buy mosquito spray to get rid of the whining little buggers who don't go away if you sauna as well as other things (beer, food and a fan belt): go straight along the dirt road at a medium-low speed; head right at the intersection if you want a dangerous, but shorter dirt-path road, left if you want a safer, longer one. If going right, then take the right at the intersection after the long dirt road and then the right after that onto the highway and then pull off at the first exit.

To get to the store from the left path, drive until you hit a four-way intersection. Turn right and then left. Drive on the right side of the dividing line, making sure to stay at less than 80 KPH and then pull off at the second exit on your left, it'll say Perijarvi with a bunch of accents just after a bus stop. If taking either path at night, keep your hi-beams on and keep your speed 20 KPH lower than in the day until you learn where the moose crossings are. Those mothers weigh a lot and will kill you or send you into a tree at highway speed if you hit them. If you see them, either brake (risky) or try to drive behind it. (they always come from the inside of the highway closest to the lake, never from the map border).

fill up your gas-cans, get the fan belt hanging from the wall, at least three cases of beer and plenty of food and mosquito spray. Now drive back home, I'd suggest using the long path, now that your back end is weighed down. When you finally get home, take the sauna bucket and fill it with water from the shower or kitchen sink, take it into the room, left click on it with the dipper and then right click to throw the water onto the coals, make sure to adjust throw height for distance. I think it reduces your dirtiness more if you throw the water from the benches, not sure. Try urinating on the coals for fun. Repeat until you are clean and make sure to stay hydrated. If you are still hearing a bug in your ear, use the mosquito spray. Make sure that your sauna is still on when you leave it so that it doesn't have to warm up whenever you want to use it.

There you go, pretty much a starters guide. Hope you will enjoy the game!

FYI the mod to remove the buzzing sound is updated. but it doesn't remove the bird sounds though, cus they don't really bother me that much, birds are almost in every game anyway.

Pretty sure you can also lower dirtiness by swimming in the lake
